Culture: Reggae began in ↑Jamaica in the 1960s and is now well known in Britain, the US and other countries. Reggae songs often have a ↑Rastafarian message, and the musicians often wear their hair in long tight curls called dreadlocks. Famous reggae groups have included Bob Marley and the Wailers, Aswad and Burning Spear.
