the Apprentice Boys' Parade
the Apprentice Boys’ Parade [the Apprentice Boys Parade] BrE NAmE an occasion on 12 August every year when some of the Protestant citizens of Northern Ireland march through the streets of ↑Derry, in memory of the day in 1689 when the army of the Roman Catholic King ↑James II was forced to give up attacking the town.
